I have been holding my tongue on this one, but for some reason this post from Daily Blogster inspired me.
Excuse me SENATOR Obama, you are still a Senator and there is no such thing as the office of the President Elect.
unbelievable.
Is there any constitutional, legislative or precedent authority for an Office of the President-Elect? If not, and I assume that there isn’t, it reveals a lot about what Barack means when he talks about change. The Obama campaign, and now administration-elect, has no problem changing American symbols and institutions to serve them.
Is it just a marketing and PR gimmick? Does it really suit them to traffic in make believe?
Who knows? Maybe someone reading this post can point to where an official office of this sort has been employed in the past.
Most importantly though, where is the money for this office’s operations coming from? Osama Bin Laden or Uncle Sam?

The Postmodern President Elect…
Man who invents his own pre-presidential seal invents new government office. As Founding Bloggers ask, “The Office of the President Elect?–who funds that?……
Actually there is an office of the president elect. http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/contentView.do?noc=T&contentType=GSA_BASIC&contentId=24780
JohnnyCL, did you read the GSA webpage you pointed to? Providing office space does not constitute a US Government recognized office. The PeOTUS just has a huge ego.
