Is It Safe To Be An American Jew? Or Any Kind Of Jew For That Matter?

January 2, 2009

If this had happened to a mosque, do you think we would have heard more about it? Do you think it would have made the national news?

Chicago, IL. December 29, 2008 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today condemned the Molotov cocktail thrown against the wall of Temple Sholom, one of Chicago’s oldest synagogues.  The act, which reportedly occurred before 2 a.m., is currently being investigated as a hate incident.

This must be poor writing because I can’t believe that there is any point in condemning the Molotov cocktail, instead of the climate of ignorance and hate towards Jews inspired by bigots and their mainstream media enablers who apologize for terrorists at every turn.

I am not sure how much longer it will be safe to be an American Jew. Actually, if you consider 9/11 and the El Al ticket counter shooting, and the other shootings, perhaps it has never been truly safe to be an American Jew.
