The 2009 Chicago Auto Show closes Sunday, capping an 11 day industry wide exercise in ‘putting a good face on’ in the midst of daily news coverage of expanding bailouts and possible bankruptcies.
Our report reviews how the economy is affecting competing manufacturers’ attempts to deliver the next generation of “green” engines. We also ask the car makers how demand for green tech is holding up in the face of reduced gas prices. They all believe (and hope) that current low(er) gas prices are temporary.
