About a month ago I downloaded the new Picasa for Mac. I was initially very pleased with the way it searched all of my hard drives to find hidden pictures and videos.
Unfortunately, the program’s update agent kept popping up to ask me if I wanted to download the newest iteration of the software. I obliged the first two times, but the third time it happened (I think it was the third time), I decided that I would put it off till later.
Unfortunately, the program’s update agent is extremely persistent and wouldn’t take no for an answer. It just kept popping up every few minutes no matter how many times I would decline the increasingly vexatious offer.
Unfortunately, the program’s update agent offers no overt way to set the update agent’s request interval, unless I have overlooked it somewhere.
Unfortunately, I have deleted the program from my hard drive.
