Fascism Watch: All Your Child Are Belong To Us

March 24, 2009

One imperative mission of any progressive socialist regime is to insert the state in between the parent and the child. What better way to achieve this goal than to enact forced child labor laws that mandate volunteerism under penalty of law.

Gateway Pundit has an excerpt of legislation that just passed the house which builds the framework for mandatory state service:

Under section 6104 of the bill, entitled “Duties,” in subsection B6, the legislation states that a commission will be set up to investigate, “Whether a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed, and how such a requirement could be implemented in a manner that would strengthen the social fabric of the Nation and overcome civic challenges by bringing together people from diverse economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.”

Section 120 of the bill also discusses the “Youth Engagement Zone Program” and states that “service learning” will be “a mandatory part of the curriculum in all of the secondary schools served by the local educational agency”.

Those who are willing to sacrifice other people’s individualism for the betterment of society are called socialists and fascists and progressives and Democrats.

What do you think the state should do with parents who tell the government that they can pry their kids from their cold dead hands?

What do you think the state should do with non-conforming kids who refuse to have any % their individuality served over to the state?

What will be the penalty for non-performance to the state? Anyone that supports this measure without answering this question is morally and intellectually bankrupt.

Was there ever a time when our tax dollars funded a government that worked for us, or have we always been subjects of the state, indebted at birth to the system by virtue of the “opportunity” it magnanimously bestows upon us?

What is wrong with the lazy-ass kids of today who do not know what responsibility is having to learn something that will teach them structure? I think that it is sad that parents can not or will not turn off the televisions, computers and cell phones that their children are attached to with umbilical cords and teach them respect, order and discipline. Thank God that the government wants to do this- even if it is flawed at the moment… The Act is an “infant” and it has to be nurtured- it takes a village, and America (and it’s politicians) is one hell of a village! Children today do not honor and love their country… how could this really hurt?
Get up off your ass and pull up your pants!!!

You know what? That anti-McCain add with that cracked up mother saying “you can’t have him” well this looks alot like the government demanding our children for their “national service” and I say “you can’t have them.” Give me some kind of response to that, “progressives.”

Not to throw too much cold water on the flames here, but that particular title is not in the bill that passed the House – (H.R. 1388 EH). It was in the bill as introduced (H.R. 1388 IH), but was deleted through committee and amendment.
