Fascism Watch – Democrat Billboard Attacking Rush Limbaugh

March 12, 2009

We are starting a new category here at Founding Bloggers entitled ‘Fascism Watch’. The goal of this category is to track and observe exhibits of Fascism in America. This effort will be non-partisan and unforgiving of any example of fascist behavior, from any corner.

The inaugural post in the newly minted ‘Fascism Watch’ category is the Democrat party campaign against PRIVATE CITIZEN Rush Limbaugh.

It is disgusting that the White House and the Democrat party at large is using the machine of government to publicly attack a private citizen just because he dares to openly dissent.

Beyond disgusting, it is textbook fascism. Not Hitler Fascism. The Democrats are not Nazis, but this behavior is straight out of the universal fascism playbook. Destroy dissent with intimidation, threats and eventually more drastic methods.

The Democrats are taking this attack to damaging heights, as evidenced by a billboard they are renting with the sole intent of vilifying a PRIVATE CITIZEN.

rushboard by you.

Wake up America. This is the Democrat party doing this. If this isn’t propaganda, what is? That could be  anyone’s face up there. All you have to do is cross the Democrats. Rush Limbaugh, agree with him or not, love him or hate him, is the canary in the free speech coalmine folks.

If the Democrats feel free to do this to Rush Limbaugh, who will they do it to next?

This is a Fascist campaign no matter how you define the ethos.

John Hinderaker hits the nail on the head when he writes:

Can you imagine the Republican Party, on instructions from President Bush, erecting anti-Michael Moore billboards near his home? No, neither can I. Nor can I imagine the outcry from the Democrats had the Bush administration done such a thing.

Fascism Watch.

Rush is not your average citizen. Nor is he an official representative of the Republican Party.

It is not just whether this is Fascist. This is play ground childishness from the party that claims it is more mature.

America did not VOTE for a rush to failure. So why are we being handed it for our children and grandchildren to bear.

At some point, maybe they’ll stop talking about a Radio Talk Show Host and instead, work to stop wrecking our economy. Convincing a bunch of lemmings who don’t listen to Limbaugh, that Rush Limbaugh is bad, isn’t going to bring the DOW Back
