Fake Headline: Axe Murdering Palestinian Islamist May Be Death Blow To Hopes For Israeli Peace

We know it is fake because we wrote it. The real headline at the TimesOnline is “New town may be death blow to hopes for Israel peace”
A town where Jews might live, despite islamist demands to the contrary, is a death blow to hopes for peace. An axe murdering Jihadi though, is but a natural reaction to Jewish existance.
An axe-wielding Palestinian man killed an Israeli child and injured another during a rampage in a West Bank settlement today in an incident that will harden tensions with the newly-formed hardline government.
Uh oh. This attack will make those hardline jews even more hardline. How about ‘This attack and others like it make it impossible for any responsible government to negotiate a realistic peaceful settlement.’
Bat Ayin, where the attack took place, is one of the most radical of Israel’s settlements to be built in the West Bank, which was occupied from Jordan after the region’s 1967 war. It was built in 1989 and has a population of more than 1,000, most of whom are ultra-nationalist Jews.
Nothing to see here. Just radicals attacking radicals.
Such settlements, which have heavy security protection and are illegal under international law, have often been the scene of sporadic attacks by Palestinians.
The Jews were breaking the law anyway so they were practically asking for it. Just curious, is butchering children in the name of Allah a violation of international law? Probably not if the butchered child is a Jew.
A Palestinian organisation calling itself the Imad Mughniyeh Group, named after a commander of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah killed in Lebanon last year, claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was “a natural response to the crimes of the occupation”. It is doubtful whether the claim is genuine, and it appears that the attack may have been the work of a lone radical.
