If You Were Outraged By The Government’s Response To Katrina…

April 26, 2009

…then your outrage, if genuine, should be approaching a steady simmer on the way to a full boil for the government’s slow response to the Swine Flu.

U.S. public health officials did not know about a growing outbreak of swine flu in Mexico until nearly a week after that country started invoking protective measures…

It gets worse than that. Read the rest of the quote here.

If a bunch of Americans die because of a slow response by the Obama administration, will the sponsors of the Bush Legacy Bus start their engines on the Obama Legacy Bus? Those sponsors of course being Americans United For Change, SEIU, AFSCME, Move On, and others. You know, the people who elected our current President.

The video below should serve as refresher course on the Bush Legacy Bus.

    Alert! Alert! Alert!…

The White House will be having a press conference at 12:30 PM EST on the dreaded “swine flu”, as it has grown to pandemic proportions. 11 people in the US……

I’m not sure I want the Obama administration responding quickly. They’ll have us taking mandatory vaccines, and taking DNA samples while we’re there too.

And obviously this will underscore the need for “free” health care.

I’m almost to the point where I’d just as soon die than live any more. I loved freedom too much to settle for tyranny.

Of course Obama will blame bush and the obots will scream why don’t you want them to get free healthcare

Of course…all epidemics and pandemics are instantly obvious. Angela, get a grip.

It was reported last nite on KSFO AM San Fran Freako that lil bHo (TOTUS) actually shook hands with a Mexican official (museum curator or something or other) who was DEAD the next day from flu like symptoms.

    Think of those possibilities.

The USG has no response plan for this inevitability of flus morphing into new viruses…such as swine etc.

There is no vaccine. It would take an evil corporation 14-26 weeks (according to “experts) to come up with something that might work.

Bottom line is that flights into Oakland CA from Mexico occur daily. Where else are they still being allowed to go an come? On which airlines? To which destinations.

This is lil bHo’s first big test. And it is hilarious that the MSM has not seen any of his other doofus actions in the last 100 days as any kinds of test at all?

What happens when we all flunk our immune systems’ tests as to whether we can survive the flu ENDEMIC that is coming.

Duh! Maybe George Soros has a cure.

It’s never the thing u think is gonna getcha that gets u. Never. If it werent so dangerous I’d be laughing my ass off.

PS: Angela, were you spanked too hard as a tyke? Maybe see if u can find someone to spank you now. Work it out. You dont have to give in to the dark feelings. ROFLMAO

Michelle Malkin is right…and has been all along.

Open borders allow anything and everything to enter this country.

It’s almost a certainty that the US flu cases came from Mexico…one source even suggests the possibility of a biological attack.

First of all, for many of the new flus like this one, which is a mutation of sorts, there probably will not be a vaccine for some time. Roche manufactures Tamiflu, and they said they have plenty to start treating people and will begin making more in case this becomes wide spread. There is one other drug that can kill this off and the manufacturers of that drug to my knowledge have yet to make a public statement as quick as Roche did. My husband is a former employee of Roche, and he has said if requested, Roche could and would make whatever needed. Keyword, “requested”. I leave it to you guys to guesstimate how long it takes for The One to make a decision to “request” more drugs to treat the infected. I put him in the category of a hater of humanity, and as of late in particular that would include those of us who happen to be “us, U.S. Americans”. I do not think he has reached the level of Michelle, and for once in his life “is proud to be an American.”

The key is to wash your hands often, and wear a mask if you are afraid of catching this due to any health conditions. The very best solution according to the microbiology major of the household is to limit your activities around large gatherings of peoples. If you can make a run to the grocery stores now, and not wait until this could get worse, that would be a good idea. Perhaps stock up enough for a month or so. Or another idea is to go late at night when there are not so many people in the stores.

As to the Katrina connection, being that I live in Mississippi, I can tell you that waiting for the feds to do anything is not a good idea. Please try to be as pro and pre- active as possible. Think in terms of not getting much help for at least a bit. If anyone has taken the time to examine Obama’s actions to the tornado outbreak a few months back, the ice storms, and the recent flooding in South Dakota and other Northern states, you would find him not stepping one toe in most or any of these states to examine the damage. Even some Dems in Iowa, (pardon me if I got the state wrong), or Indiana, hit by the ice storms were angry that he had not responded with aid very quickly. They roasted Bush for flying over New Orleans when 1) he did not want to interfere with aid planes landing and 2) they could not guarantee his safety and 3) they were trying to save lives at the airport. The media did not want to be confused with the facts.

We were treated however, with many reassuring cow pies of statements from the DHS, (Dept. of Hangnails and Papercuts), that His Majesty, despite playing golf, was very much informed to the status of the swine flu. I felt like I was watching an SNL skit. It was too, too unbelievable to be reality.

[...] Sooooooo glad our current administration is taking the threat seriously. At least they were on top of the situation…only a week late, that is. [...]

only a week late? unlike say, a hurricane, no one knew what this H1Ni strain would do, or how it would morph. To somehow assign blame for a foreign edpidemic breakout to this administration shows how clueless you are. both parties cut funding to flu-outbreak control, but you no doubt only see one as being guilty of anything.

You Wrote: “both parties cut funding to flu-outbreak control, but you no doubt only see one as being guilty of anything.”

Answer: We did not blame Obama. We asked if people would blame him if there was a high death toll. It’s just like an angry progressive to be afraid of a little question. Plus We seem to remember that the Gov of LA was a Democrat, and the Mayor of New Orleans was a Democrat, but somehow only Republicans were to blame for how awful the local government responded. So you might want to put a lid on your paranoid hypocrisy.

    Thanks for commenting!

Loved refreshing my memory on the Bush Legacy. David Bellavia and Pete Hegseth were awesome…and that cheeky punk was nervous as hell.
The liberals will continue to apologize and defend anything the COWboy (citizen of the world)boy) does or says. Remember the movie “Love Story” Famous line: Love means never having to say you’re sorry. It applies to all COW supporters!!
