“Ali al-Marri today admitted that he came here, to Peoria, Illinois, as an Al Qaeda operative the day before the Sept. 11 attacks to plan and prepare for future acts of terrorism within the United States,” said Jeffrey Lang, acting U.S. Attorney for the central district of Illinois.
Don’t worry Democrats. He’ll be out of federal prison in about 6 years, and then he’ll probably go on welfare while making new plans to murder more infidels for Allah.
Al-Marri faces up to 15 years in prison but his attorneys will seek credit for time spent in the brig. If granted, al-Marri could serve as few as six years if he receives the maximum sentence.
