20 year old Chicago resident/student Michael Hairsine has survived the flu, and had the following to say about the ordeal:
“I could hardly move. It was a chore to get out of bed. I felt absolutely terrible,” Hairsine said from his parents’ home. “I feel like it still is the flu, but it’s not so terrible that people should be freaking out the way they are.”

All flu strains kill some people. Whether or not this current Panic Attack is justified or not will take a few weeks to months to decide. It’s never a bad idea to take precautions against catching the flu.
OTOH, it’s winter/early spring and there are few to no shark attacks for the MSM to get hysterical about.
