While Instapundit is writing about Tennessee’s state sovereignty resolution, others in Tennessee are hoping to erect a statue of Al Gore at the State Capitol.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A resolution urging the creation of statues to be built on the Tennessee Capitol grounds of the state’s two Nobel Peace Prize winners, Al Gore and Cordell Hull, is on its way to a full Senate vote.
Hull received a Nobel for his role in inventing the UN. Gore received his for saving the world.
Let’s hope these statues are erected, and that they are both placed where birds can sh!t all over them. That would be a picture worth 10,000 words.
Isn’t a statue of Algore a little redundant? It is nice to know a bunch of pigeons will be crapping on him day in and day out.
