When jerkoffs on the Left interrupt conservative speakers, it is correctly labeled a form a fascism. What is it called when jerkoffs on the Right try to shut down speakers they disagree with?
It was lame when the Left did it to the Right, and it is lame when the Right does it to the Left.
People should stop trying to shut down free speech they disagree with. It is a fascist move.

While I’m convinced that the differences between conservatives and liberals are primarily linked with personality types and that conservatives need to be more outspoken to compete, this particular venue probably isn’t the best arena for it.
I’ll also admit that I was infuriated when Code Menopause magically was allowed into events when prominent Republicans were speaking so I do have a hint of “turnabout’s fair play”.
A post brimming with wisdom as usual though.
I wish I had a dollar for everytime a conservative was shouted down by a lefty protester at a lefty college. I think those tactics are tacky regardless of who does it.
We should not allow Code Stink to be our influences.
I agree. The issue is giving an honorary degree and honoring in total a man that literally supports tossing live infants in a waste bin. This should be taken up with the President of Notre Dame.
This isn’t Obama’s fault. He’s a communist scumbag. He’s never been anything else. It’s up the a supposedly Catholic University to pay for this mistake. Yank the students and yank the donations- game over. Nothing much to talk about.
Well yes, sort of, but….
I agree that the more appropriate protests were the respectful ones, the service at the Grotto, the cross and baby footprints on the mortarboards, etc. And I would object if anyone actually tried to prevent him from speaking. On the other hand, if someone (and I think there were actually 3 someones) felt compelled to say something, it’s not like they rushed the stage and kept yelling while being drug out. Which I think is the behavior you are comparing it to.
You see, one Sunday morning sitting in my regular pew in the Methodist church listening to our preacher explain that Christ didn’t really mean what he said about divorce, knowing that our preacher was divorced… when the lights went out, I did, without really thinking about, say, “Or you could be wrong.”
So maybe these “jerkoffs” weren’t so much lame or fascist but just spontaneous. Honest, it does happen sometimes.
BAW- You wrote: “when the lights went out, I did, without really thinking about, say, Or you could be wrong.”
Answer: It sounds like you waited until he was done to make your statement. That is different from causing a disruption to shut down speech you disagree with. It is different from causing a scene for the cameras.
