The White House released this image of Obama Supreme Court nominee Sotomayor quoting a leading socialist in her Princeton yearbook.

Conservative Mama says:

Norman Thomas was, of course, the leading American Socialist politician of the 20th century.

Perhaps they figured it would come out eventually so they wanted to be able to say, “That’s old news. We thought it was so inconsequential, we mentioned it ourselves.”

This doesn’t make her a socialist, but it does establish her as an admirer of at least one.

    unfortunately, Sortamayo doesn’t have a clue about the role of the judiciary in our government.

    which means she’s a shoe-in with the democratic congress.

    Unfortunately the Democrats will easily brush this off with the usually Robert Gibbs-esque guffaw at the lunacy of the “fascist right.”
