The Left is taking a beating today for being so incredibly wrong about the threat posed by their comrades in North Korea:

Will The Left Apologize To Bolton?

On May 20, 2009, John Bolton wrote an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal titled “Get Ready for Another North Korean Nuke Test” in which he noted that the complacency of the Obama administration about North Korea’s nuclear ambitions (and Iran’s) was misplaced

Predictably, the Left vilified him and called him “crazy.”

Allison Kilkenny at Huffington Post applied the left-wing attack on Bolton specifically as to Bolton’s North Korea position, in a post titled, Update: John Bolton Still Crazy:

Shameful. It is hard to think of anyone the Left disagrees with who isn’t evil and crazy. Funny how that is.

Will the Left learn from their ignorance? Power Line isn’t so sure:

I think it’s safe to say they’re smiling in Tehran (or should I say “the Islamic Republic of Iran”?) too.

We’ll see.

There will be no apology. I give it 48 hours before the NK tests become a plot between Bolton and Cheney to ’scare monger’ us dimwits on the right.

If anything, this likely strengthens Benjamin Netanyahu’s hand regarding Iran. It will either bolden Bibi (not that it’s needed at this stage) or soften President Obama’s public (or private) condemnation of an Israeli strike against Iranian nuclear facilities

Obama has avoided the thorny details of assiduous analysis on the most critical problems facing America, and has used sweeping, but banal statements of obvious principals, while his appointees actually implement policies and programs inconsistent with the claims of the message. Now we have flip-flops upon flip-flops on detainees.

Did America elect a monarch? … A President is still needed.
