After a painful 24 hours of trouble shooting database and blog engine issues, we are finally back online with our data intact!
Our problems started when we attempted to install a page cache plug-in to help improve the performance of the site. What resulted was all of our data from May 22nd through yesterday, suddenly disappeared.
At first, we didn’t know if the data was gone, or was simply not displaying for some other reason. Thankfully the data was intact, and a bunch of upgrades to our software have resurrected the posts from data purgatory.
This required a ton of experimenting and troubleshooting that we could not have done without the dedicated team at Pair Networks. They worked for hours to resolve the issues, and we are seriously thankful for their efforts.
We also have to express major thanks to Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs, who generously agreed to take a look at our database to see if he could figure out where we went wrong.
