There is a sad pattern emerging here. The only weapon these protesters really have is the documentation of their beating or death. It almost looks as if they know this, and are stepping up to throw rocks, knowing that they might be next to be shot. This must be what cultivates their culture of martyrs.
It is also hard to ignore the similarity some of this footage has to what we have seen come out of the Palestinian territories for years. The crowd provokes a response that can be filmed and packaged for distribution.
That being said, there are some stark and obvious differences between the two groups of footage. In the case of the Iranian’s they have no other weapons so it truly is an act of desperation, even if they are grimly politically capitalizing on their own deaths. In the case of the Palestinians, they do it mostly just for the sake of vilifying the infidel Jews at the behest of their sharia sugar daddies across the Muslim world.
Another stark contrast between the two groups of footage is that the Iranians are not faking their deaths for the camera.
It is interesting though, to see the tactic used against Islamist regime itself.
