This morning, we picked up on Confederate Yankee’s coverage of Mousavi, because he linked to our earlier post about potentially disturbing comments recently attributed to the the Iranian “reformer”.
Now Confederate Yankee is reporting the following:
Via Hot Air comes the news that the “moderate” Iranian opposition leader Mirhossein Mousavi is the Butcher of Beirut, responsible for the terrorist attack on the U.S. Marine Corps barracks that killed 241 servicemen.
We are going to learn the true nature of this rebellion. Is the movement about genuine reformation, and Mousavi was simply the least worst vessel the average Iranian was given permission to vote for? Or is it about installing Mousavi because they think he is the right man for the job of running a better regime?
Every American should hope and pray that the Iranian protesters are looking to throw off their oppressors, and live at least as free as their Iraqi neighbors. That would mean the movement is bigger than the man, Mousavi.
Again, we have to express our concern for how dangerous a time we think this is for EVERYONE. From our earlier post on the matter: A Scary Thought About Iran
Just a thought here, but if the regime decides that they are going to put down this revolution with brute force, they are probably going to want to figure out a way to make the rest of the world look away first. What better way for them to distract the rest of the world than by initiating a devastating terrorist attack outside of Iran.
