There is a bill that came across my inbox today that = someone on the Hill shares your sentiments.. The bill’s about not spending stimulus dollars on plaques et al(l) that announced “Your stimulus dollars at work here”, that kind of thing..

i don’t know. i think those who are better & smarter than me (i.e. the government) have a responsibility – nay, a duty – to tell me how to live my life.

i know this mandate isn’t found anywhere in the constitution (@ least i think so – i’ve never actually read it…), but who cares? they’re better & smarter than all that.

Sorry for being off topic but could you post something about the upcoming Chicago July 4th Tea Party. We’ve attended both and cannot find anything about the upcoming one. There also seems to be “alternative” tea parties springing up and we want to attend the one organized by the same people as the first two. Thanks in advance.

Enjoyed your reporting from the April 15th one. I’ve become of friend of the Russian guy you interviewed and he has the same frustration about finding information about July 4th.
