This is real (but not the finger) I was there. She god arrested 5 min after as she was walking away by 3 men and they dragged her into a van, pulling her by the hair. I didn’t know there were any picture until this morning, everyone’s phone was confiscated around.

About the finger, it means the same in Iran than anywhere else. We’re not stupid. We watch movies too, even if it’s illegal. Everything is anyway, and no one care about us. Israel/Iran focuses all the attention. More Israel act that way, more they give legitimacy to the anti-us feeling in the Arabian street, more they get issues all around the western world by looking unfair, and more Iranian (who aren’t Arabs) suffer from this situation too.

This president is a dirty pig anyway.

its real u could tell because u see her arms reflection in the chrome of the front of the car… i love this picture because a women had the guts to risk her life to express her feelings for that piece of shit president.

I would be surprised to see anyone giving the finger in Iran, especially when it is customary to give the thumb (which is equivalent to the finger) or the “OK” sign (Which is equivalent to calling someone an “a**hole” . . .

I still want to believe it’s real though :)

Shadow is correct. The closer I look, the more I can see the thumb resting against the side of the 2nd joint in the index finger.

When I try to make the same gesture with my thumb placed as in the photo, it’s physically impossible for me to fully extend the middle finger as in the image.
