Our friends at Breitbart have this video featuring U.S. Representative Steve King discussing the bipartisan report that describes ACORN as a “criminal enterprise” that violated federal nonprofit regulations regarding political activity.
“Both structurally and operationally, ACORN hides behind a paper wall of nonprofit corporate protections to conceal a criminal conspiracy on the part of its directors, to launder federal money in order to pursue a partisan agenda and to manipulate the American electorate,” an executive summary of the report reads.
Worth watching the entire thing.
I don’t want one penny of my tax dollars to go to a blatantly criminal organization. They should have been ordered to cease and desist operations years ago.
If I see a census worker with an Acorn ID, I’ll politely but firmly tell them I refuse to answer any questions about my household unless I see a valid ID from a Census Bureau employee.
