Rasmussen Reports has a recent poll showing that 27% favor a second stimulus package and 60% are in opposition.
We’re a tad perplexed at the suggestion that a second stimulus package is “needed” when only $10 billion out of a total of $790 billion has currently been spent.

Instead of attempting to pass yet another debt-laden monstrosity on to our children, is there not a way that the stimulus projects timetables already passed be accelerated? While that question is asked, is it also not fair to suggest that the slow time frames scheduled in the existing stimulus package were deliberately timed to allow for the scenario that exists now?

So let me get this straight. Congress passes a bill that straps this country with the heaviest debt in history, yet does not actually put the money into the economy. It then asks for more because it’s not working.
Either the stimulus did not work, and they need to take a different angle, or they need to spend the money allocated, and then see some positive results prior to asking for more. But we don’t demand logic from these bums… or honesty for that matter.
