Obama Idolatry WAS Good Business?

Evan Maloney at Brain Terminal has some great religious imagery of President Obama with some disturbing ramifications.
This weekend, while walking around NYC, I noticed a couple more propaganda posters put up by members of the Cult of Obama.
The first, “Siddhartha Obama,” is a large mural on the side of a building in Chelsea. It shows Obama as The Enlightened One holding solar panels, and features Dick Cheney popping out of a stars-and-stripes-painted Hummer and gas pumps bearing the Republican Party logo sitting atop coffins draped in American flags.
Hey, we’re all for passionate support of political figures that some folks express through artwork. The question remains though is what is the purpose of the religious-themed representations of our president? Is it an expression of adoration by the artist or is it meant to generate similar adoration in the viewer/follower?
