Wasn’t Ronald Reagan’s strategy with respect to Radical Islamist Numero Uno Osama Bin Laden to fund him?

Osama was funded then for a purpose. That purpose is no longer on the agenda. He placed himself outside of the original alliance he had with the U.S. He made the choice. We responded to it.
