One of Founding Bloggers’ readers makes the following point regarding the August 22nd rally we posted about a couple of days ago.
Are you really planning a rally on a Saturday (8/22 is a Saturday)?- the congresswoman will not even be in her office on a weekend.

To be specific, Founding Bloggers is not planning any part of this, or any other protest. We simply came across it and passed the info along.
That detail aside, Mary Lou makes a very good point. Will any elected officials be in their offices that day?
We wonder if the protesters might be better served if, in the absence of a public event to attend/protest, they get into the background of every media live shot they can find, especially behind studios with live shots of the street in the background.
Better yet, do both. Show elected officials AND the media that they cannot hide and/or ignore people’s outrage
Just a thought.
