EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Political Terrorism In The Heartland – Inside the Quincy Tea Party Cell

August 25, 2009

terrorinheartland by you.

Recently, Founding Bloggers was tipped off to the existence of a regional “political terrorist” cell calling itself the Quincy Tea Party.

When we learned that this group of Tea Party fundamentalists was in the planning stages for an upcoming political act, we sent in our investigative unit to gather evidence of them plotting their so called “9/12 event”.

What follows is our exclusive video report of what this secretive group is planning.

Because YouTube has a 10 minute limit on uploads, and our report is 10:37, we have uploaded the clip in its entirety to Blip, and we have also uploaded a two part version to YouTube. (Part 1) & (Part 2)

Both versions are embeddable, but Blip offers much better looking compression.

You could EASILY cut MINUTES out of this and get the message across better.

*I* thought the big even on September 12, 2009 was in Washington, DC. …

SO, just why, then, does the announcer at the end say Tea Party in Quincy, Illinois?!?

    Good material, but START AGAIN.

  2. Dave on August 25, 2009 at 8:48 am

The event IS in Quincy Ed Wallis. See how that changes everything you just wrote?

  3. KV on August 25, 2009 at 9:13 am

The big event is in DC, this is the event in flyover Country as one of the folks mentioned…

    I wouldn’t cut it…loved it

All of this extremism sickens me with how extremely extremist it is.

At the rally Saturday, they were handing out flyers promoting a 9/12 march down Michigan Avenue. The contact email was:

The flyer referenced TeaPartyPatriots.org, IllinoisTEA.com, and FreeOurHealthCare.com websites. I don’t know these organizations and so cannot vouch for who is behind them. Maybe Founding Bloggers can help us with that?

Great website. Sorry you could not attend. I loved your coverage of the April 15 event!

  7. Jason on August 25, 2009 at 10:19 am

You can upload up a video up to 10:59 seconds on Youtube. You would be better off in the long run upgrading your wordpress with videopress. Quality is great. No time limit.

Great stuff. I hope I can make it to Quincy.

The Quincy Tea Party 9/12 plan gives new–and better–meaning to ‘Too big to fail.’
    Here’s hoping…

  11. BackwardsBoy on August 25, 2009 at 11:00 am

Oh noes!!!111!! Call ACORN, the SEIU, the NBPP and George Soros, this must not be allowed to happen! How can such blatant anti-Americanism be tolerated? How dare they utter such revolutionary ideas like individualism and personal responsibility? I won’t even speak of their insolence in rejecting the efforts to control our lives by a government that only has our best interests in mind. In short, I’m apalled and shocked, shocked I tell you!

All those dastardly people had NO IDEA they were on camera. This is reporting of the highest and best caliber. I look forward to more of this and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

  12. Ed Wallis on August 25, 2009 at 11:48 am

Excuse me, but I did NOT write the “second posting” at 9:02am.

PLEASE DELETE somebody else’s idea of a “joke.” (“green weight loss tea?!”)

And, *N*O*, Dave, I do not see how the fact that there may be a gathering in Quincy, IL on September 12 MAKES ANY DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER to the rest of my comment.

I find the video too long, repetetive and weak.

  13. admin on August 25, 2009 at 11:54 am

Thanks for the heads up Ed. That comment has been deleted. It was a clever spambot that managed to evade our defenses temporarily.

  14. Rita Owens on August 25, 2009 at 11:56 am

Loved the “reporter’s” tongue-in-cheek explanation of the infiltrative devices, his breathless shock at the extremism of the clandestine group, and the clever Brooks Brothers commercial.
This fun video not only brightened my day, but also gave me encouragement as a fellow Tea Party patriot here in Texas. Go Quincy! Sure hope you find plenty of sponsors for your wonderful 9/12 event. We’re with you in spirit.

  15. JorgXMcKie on August 25, 2009 at 1:25 pm

Both of my kids live in the Quincy area. If they don’t have to work, they’ll be there, they said.

It’s easier to organize a protest among the parasite classes, I expect.

  16. Buford Gooch on August 25, 2009 at 1:34 pm

I know JorgXMcKie’s kids, and they won’t be the Brooks Brothers types Barbara Boxer is so concerned about. More “the mob” types, with a little “rabble” thrown in.

  17. Dravot on August 25, 2009 at 4:37 pm

Love it…great stuff. Going to try to make it to Quincy. I had thought about going to DC, but standing with fellow patriots in America’s heartland sounds better.

  18. Lisa on August 25, 2009 at 4:44 pm

Next time, try to “tighten it up.” Lags in too many places, too repetitive in others. But, the satire is good. Video quality and sound were also good.

  19. Patriot! on August 25, 2009 at 5:11 pm

Love it! Simply think we have to have some humor in the midst of all this we are ‘growing’ through today!’ These were done with expertise & when you listen to the ‘heart’ of the message it is so true! Thanks for all those out there in AMERICA who are at it every day to make it again be the country our forefathers designed it to be!
Begin creating a better country for all ages and get back to the CONSTITIUTION OF THE UNITED STATES!!! I am not able to prioitize travel to DC but I can to Quincy!

  20. james on August 25, 2009 at 5:51 pm

Thank God my GOP friends who voted for the last guy in office (TWICE even !!!) are beginning to realize who is REALLY behind this whole dust-up. They’re no doubt waiting in the wings to watch all of this & wait for the end to pick up the $poil$.

  21. Sully on August 25, 2009 at 8:06 pm

  25. Madcap on August 26, 2009 at 12:39 pm

You guys did great. most people don’t understand what is involved in putting together a production such as this.

  26. james on August 26, 2009 at 4:31 pm

It was a great experience attending my town hall in Riverton, Wyoming because these guys knew how to conduct it.

We had a crowd of 200, broke into 10 groups and we all brainstormed a topic list–death panels, single payer, government takeover/public option, political process/bipartisanship, etc.). Everyone there had a chance to put 4 round stickers next to our top four topics & those issues that had the most stickers were used to form questions for and each of us had 4 stickers to put up next to the 4 topics that were most important to us. Those issues that had the most stickers were used to develop questions to ask Barrasso. When we all got back together, each group was allowed to ask 5 questions, 1 at at time, and Cong. Barasso answered all the questions posed to him.

Although a few were armed, it still was a respectful discussion and good questions were asked & answered. Just wish every patriot was so lucky as we were.

Because of efforts like this, people are beginning to get the message. This is great.

It is imperative that no one drops the ball, it has to be carried all the way to Obama’s door step , Any one with a camera should tape the events and show the world and our country what is being dropped from the evening news at MSNBC and other state run news outlets . They do not show the many people who have dedicated their entire being to protest the run away spending and the power grabs that exist in Washington today. Reform? what is there to reform it is to be discarded totally and pick up where the real leaders stopped carrying the ball. As someone one said (Rush Limbaugh) it is the side that has the passion and not the ones who are called and told to disrupt, the ones who’s idea of America coinsides with that of the constitution. The Unions and the thugs under Obama can not match the entire US population , the people are awake now, so Obama watch your step you are about to fail. It is democrats and republicans and independants that are against this power grab. The associated press had an article about Van Jones and they spell it out, we are for communism totally as they coin Van Jones as a real patriot , they did forget to state patriot to what type of country though.

Thanks, FB, for all you guys do.
your coverage of the Chicago Tax Day Tea Party-which I attended-was great.
The Chicago 912 rally is being hosted by the Chicago Tea Party Patriots. We’re meeting at the “Bean” at 11. There were around 5000 on 4/15 and 10000 in New Lenox on Monday-I was there too.
Quincy is great-but since Chicago is Zero’s turf-we need to send him-and all of DC-a message too loud and clear for him to ignore!
    annoyinglittletwerp-the internet nuisance.

It is radical people like you all, 99 and 99% rEPUBLICAN that are screwing up the country! I hope all of you get the freedom of speech that the DIxie Chicks got!! Remember!!! If youi forgot, research it. Sore loosers! Thats what elections are far. Obviously the majority was sick and tired of what we had 8 long years to be sick and tired of——–where were u then? Happy as pigs in —-. so we didn’t hear from you. While all the business men used those big tax cuts but ran over seas to do biz.–No new jobs created here. The crooked dealings of the bankers and other investment people because of NO regulations–took individuals and entire corps. down the tubes, starting with the Enron scam.–the beauty of no regulations, think about it–but all of you Rush worshippers, don’t want to think of it and u won’t. Just too twisted and happy doing it — trying to disrupt this country. I think you are all extremely prejudice too–obviously.
