All of the recent complaining by Democrats about Republicans working with special interest groups in opposition to Obamacare reminds us of something we saw at the Democrat convention in Denver.
Parked just outside the Pepsi Center, but inside the Secret Service security perimeter, was the Bush Legacy Bus, sponsored by SEIU, AFL-CIO, MoveOn, Health Care For America Now, Americans United for Change, and others.
There they all were. One big happy family!
We had been on the bus the day before when it was parked on the streets of Denver, and we were appalled to see that they were using a Jihadi propaganda snuff-film in an installation depicting Iraq as a failed campaign.
We were scheduled to meet Pete Hegseth and David Bellavia of Vets for Freedom just outside the Pepsi Center, to talk about their newest ad campaign and what they were witnessing at the convention. When we saw that the bus was parked right outside the front door, we asked Pete and Dave if they wouldn’t mind going on board with us to take a look and give us their reaction.
If you are a regular reader here, you know what happened next. They ended up in a conversation with a guy named Jeremy J. Funk of Americans United for Change. Poor Jeremy turned to Jell-o.
Anyway, an out-take from our video with them (shown below) captures the sponsorship of the bus proudly posted at the entrance of the exhibit. We cut it from the original video because what was far more compelling than the fact that the socialist-progressive-left was an honored exhibitor inside the wire at the Democrat convention, was the way these two calm American heroes deconstructed Jeremy and his bus with logic and reason.
We wonder if the Left is screaming about some of the organizers of some of the protests because logic and reason are not on their side.
