Vilifying Bush = Satire. Vilifying Obama = Racism.

The Washington Post is running a hit piece on the anonymous artist who created the brilliant Obama Joker image.

WaPo Slams Obama/Joker Posters as ‘Coded,’ ‘Racially Charged’ Stereotypes

We mused about the racial element ourselves, but we had a slightly different take:

Will people see Obama in white face as offensive? Who should feel more offended, black people, white people, or clowns?

The Washington Post must be assuming the artist was white and conservative. It would be delicious if the artist turned out to be a black female Democrat.

This animated gif below, which we found on the website Smelting Pyrite, perfectly illustrates the hypocrisy of the left on this issue.

Vilifying President Bush was satire. Vilifying President Obama is racist.

Should we be worried our image of Barney Clown is somehow homophobic because it shows a gay man in makeup?

“It would be delicious if the artist turned out to be a black female Democrat.”

It wouldn’t matter if the artist were black. The liberals now have no problem portraying one black person as having committed “racist acts” against another black person, like the black shopkeeper who shot a black youth who was trying to rob his store. They called that “racist,” maybe hoping the unwashed masses wouldn’t read too closely?
