   “Pussy is an English word meaning cat. It may also refer to the female genitalia in slang, or be used as a pejorative term that implies cowardice or weakness.”

   I believe Coulter was using the word in the sense of “cowardice or weakness”. Are we now saying, like niggardly, we cannot use that word because too many people are unclear on the meaning? Are we losing another word to lowest common denominator?

   Who, again, is showing the lack if class?

   Personally, I think the use of the word “pussy” here is absolutely fine. Sure, she could have used the word “cowardly”, but she didn’t. She used “pussy”. Deal with it…

   Let’s not pretend we don’t really know where the word comes from. C’mon–we aren’t ALL feline fans are we?

   It DOES refer to cowardly or unnaturally connected to the passive and/or the feminine.
   Sorry, but that’s the price of living in a partirachial culture.

   Ann always makes me smile.

   And with all of the crassness of culture the Left deals out to the masses on a moment to moment basis, I will be more than forgiving to any and all passionate arguments from the Right that let’s the civility standard drop for an instant.

   Passion does have a way of making language more… colorful.
