HCAN Counter Protest Mission = Epic Fail

September 22, 2009

[via Gateway Pundit]

Yesterday, we told you to keep your eye on St. Louis. Here’s why;  Health Care for America Now (HCAN) held its planned protest in support of  Obamacare in St. Louis today, as a way of countering the Tea Party protesters against socialized medicine.

Can you say epic fail? They were captured handing out pre-printed signs as part of a larger astroturfing strategy.

There were more Tea Party Patriots on 9/12 on my Metro train car on the way into DC. Send this to Nancy Pelosi as Exhibit A on what astroturfing looks like. That is pathetic.

    That’s pretty funny.

That was beautiful! They could all nearly fit into a Prius.

Nothing to see here…and I mean nothing!

But the propaganda still flows: “SPRECHEN SIE PROPAGANDA? WHY THE LEFT LOVES LIES” at http://firebreathingchristian.wordpress.com/2009/09/22/sprechen-sie-propaganda/

I was at the St. Louis rally today. Teabaggers had about 13 folks. Other demonstrators were close to 200 in support of the Obama public option plan.

Looks like teabaggers loosing a bit of steam in St. Louis.

Myself, I am a supporter of single-payer healthcare (HR676) and do not support all the Obama stuff. My Soar group would have sent 50 folks, but this was a HCAN affair and we have a problem with those folks.

Otherwise, many of our members might well have joined the teabaggers group. We do not support the teabag approach to healthcare reform, which is letting the insurance companies continue to rape the American public.

If the congress cannot pass a reasonable healthcare bill, let’s nationalize the entire affair and sort it out later.

Garyro’s comment might just be the dumbest one this blog as ever received.

Garyro…ooOOoooh 200 people, what an accomplishment! Did you miss the 9/12 march on Washington (http://bobmccarty.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/View-of-DC-Tea-Party-9-12-09.jpg)? When you can get this many people on your side, maybe we’ll take you seriously. Until then, just keep calling us teabaggers and proving your unintelligence.
