Major Blow To McCain-Feingold?

Hot Air is following an appellate court defeat for McCain-Feingold.
You have to love the government logic of that particular piece of legislation. In order to try and curb the practice of elected officials accepting large sums of money from various people and special interest groups, elected officials decided to restrict the behavior of their citizens subjects.
The premise being: poor-little-old-elected-officials are helpless and unable to say no to large sums of money. The only way to stop innocent politicians from being vicitmized by evil rich people and evil special interest groups was to restrict the political freedom of speech of EVERYONE IN AMERICA.
We pray for a permanent overturning of this obvious violation of the 1st amendment.
