Marc Lamont Hill Smacked Down By Big Government

September 17, 2009

Liberal Columbia Professor Marc Lamont Hill went on Fox News (video here) and claimed that according to Hanna Giles and James O’Keefe, they visited “dozens, if not hundreds” of ACORN offices and were turned away, before finally catching some low level workers behaving badly.

Today, Big Government is calling Marc Lamont Hill out on his claim.

This is not true.

James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles did not go to “hundreds of ACORN offices” to acquire material for this project. They went to the four offices that were shown in the series of videos. Also, at no time did O’Keefe, Giles or any representative of Big Government give such a statement to the press or to anyone.

The accusations by Marc Lamont Hill are completely false.

Perhaps Marc would like an opportunity to revise/retract his comments? Perhaps he had a different source in mind when he made this claim.

Hill is just the latest to get their spanking from

Who would have thought that one little “dot com” at the end could make Big Government such a beautiful thing?

Al Gore probably even regrets inventing the Internet now, a la ““Crushed Nuts: How ACORN Got Trampled by the ‘Racist’ Horde” at

This has been a great week for good ol’ fashioned American journalism, I think.

Hill is on FoxNews all the time and has always been fast and easy with the facts. He’s a partisan hack, and nothing more.
