Too many people have forgotten that 9/11 was unlike any other terrorist attack. The victims of 9/11, both in the buildings and on the planes, were not killed instantly by some suicide bomber. They weren’t shot dead. They suffered. They were trapped. Some made the desperate decision between dying from the smoke and fire, and jumping. How horrible must it have been for them to make such a decision?
