Michelle Malkin is tearing the New York Times a new a-hole for their coverage of the ACORN scandal:

The Fishwrap of Record has finally seen fit to tell its readers about the latest ACORN scandals (the San Bernardino tapes, which don’t get a mention, are beyond belief). True to form, the New York Times commits grievous sins of omission that whitewash the paper’s own role in deliberately covering up ACORN’s illicit activities before Election Day last November.

Read the whole thing.

We wanted to add that the NYT commits the additional lie of omission, by failing to inform their readers about the Obama campaign being forced to restate its bogus FEC filing regarding $800,000.00 Change, Inc paid to ACORN during the campaign.

From the very last paragraph of the NYT article:

Republicans highlighted the fact that the Obama campaign had paid more than $800,000 to an Acorn affiliate for get-out-the-vote efforts.

That’s not all that was highlighted. From Founding Bloggers back in  October of 2008:

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign paid more than $800,000 to an offshoot of the liberal Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now for services the Democrat’s campaign says it mistakenly misrepresented in federal reports.

An Obama spokesman said Federal Election Commission reports would be amended to show Citizens Services Inc. — a subsidiary of ACORN — worked in “get-out-the-vote” projects, instead of activities such as polling, advance work and staging major events as stated in FEC finance reports filed during the primary.

The New York Times knows this, but their readers does not.

Are the “reporters” at the NYT still out washing their hair?
