The sight of the New York Times on one’s doorstep used to be hip. A statement about you. I care, you can’t fool me, I stay informed. Well it is a statement that has gone bad, what does it say now? I don’t care … I pretend. Preach it brotha. I stay indoctrinated, feed me the narrative. “Ah .. the smell of a good narrative in the morning”.

The narrative IS a drug and they can’t STOP.
