The Wall Street Journal has an editorial today about an SEIU/ACORN connection to a recent Obama appointment to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
One of Big Labor’s priorities in Washington is to place allies in key government jobs where they can overturn existing labor policy without battles in Congress. This is a very good reason for the Senate to hold a hearing on the nomination of Craig Becker to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Mr. Becker is associate general counsel at the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which is most recently in the news for its close ties to Acorn, the disgraced housing shakedown operation.
Perhaps we are splitting hairs here, but would you say you have close ties to your mother? Or would that be an understatement in describing your relationship to someone who’s birth canal you traveled through?

This looks like a deliberate effort to revive a movement that is far past its prime. If America really wanted unions, wouldn’t they have a much higher number of members?
What the unions are trying to do is force people to vote for or against the union in front of union supporters, so they are intimidated and afraid to vote against it and ultimately, everyone who is hired MUST become a union member. Members pay dues, dues go to line the pockets of union chiefs and to buy politicians. Then businesses go broke, unable to support the workers and the unions. Then govt. buys companies, and viola, everyone is working for the govt. and everyone is a union member. So, union and govt. control all businesses and money, controlling what is produced and how much it costs. If course, we will have free healthcare, probably free homes, but there will be forced to have abortions to control population. For citizens, everything will be rationed, food, electricity but for the elite, they will have everything. Sounds crazy, but the left-wingers want control and their constituency wants everything given to them for free. So the left makes the whole US a welfare state, thereby destroying the economy and creating complete social upheaval so they can attempt to gain complete control. All part of the ACORN, SEIU and AFL-CIO plans. Cloward-Piven is being enacted in health-care reform right now. Next is big-labor takeovers. Then cap-and-trade to further decimate the economy. All the action on DADT, lawsuits by ACLU, support of Sharia law that lefties push is designed to continually weaken the US, both at home and abroad by constant attack on traditional values.
The line that jumps out to me for its abject absurdity is this ‘..stopping big corporations from taking our hard-earned tax dollars from us.’ How stupid does one have to be to believe that statement? ACORN stupid must be really stupid. Yet they sit at the left hand of the ‘father’ and whisper their wisdom into his ear. Then you get public health care and cap’en-slave. I fear for Freedom.

This is like a fairy tale. Who didn’t know that Obama was tight with Acorn? He was their LAWYER…I know he knew nothing about them,right. Wake up remember the saying “show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are”. Let’s see …and they all lived happily ever after! Doesn’t it seem like Washington thinks we are just stupid little peons?
