Gateway Pundit is linking to an AP article quoting “administration officials” on the President’s failing Afghanistan policy:
President Barack Obama is prepared to accept some Taliban involvement in Afghanistan’s political future and appears inclined to send only as many more U.S. troops as needed to keep al-Qaida at bay, a senior administration official said Thursday.
That’s odd. When we had a conservative in the White House, the goal was to kill the terrorists, including the islamist Taliban. Now that we have a Progressive Democratic-Socialist in the White House, the goal is to keep Islamists at bay with as few troops as possible, while working with the Taliban.
Good luck with that.
In past years, the end of daylight saving time meant turning back the clock just one hour. This year, not only has daylight saving time come early, we appear to be changing the clock back 8 years, all the way back to 9/10/01.

WE aren’t changing the clock back…OBAMA is turning back the clock. Unfortunately he–and we–will likely pay for that big-time.
Obama should take some advice from General George S. Patton who said (I’m paraphrasing):
“I don’t want to get any messages saying ‘We are holding our position.’ We’re not holding on to anything. We’ll let the enemy do that. We are constantly advancing! We’re gonna grab’em by the nose and we’re gonna kick’em in the ass. We’re gonna hold on to’em all the time and go through’em like s*** through a goose!”
Too bad Obama never got around to watching “Patton,” huh?
General Sherman said: “Every attempt to make war easy and safe will result in humiliation and disaster.” His words ring true more than 100 years later.
Also, paraphrasing General Sherman: “I would make this war as severe as possible, and show no symptoms of tiring till the Taliban begs for mercy.”

Obama has killed more high-value terrorists in one year than over the entire Bush administration. Do some research before spouting hate?
