Uh oh. It looks like Jihadis have been infiltrating the nuclear industry.

Nuclear engineer from Cern lab arrested for al-Qaeda links

French agents have arrested a researcher from Europe’s top atomic lab on suspicion of links to al-Qaeda, fuelling fears that terrorists could be targeting the nuclear industry.

The 32-year-old man, who was detained along with his brother, works for the prestigious European Organisation for Nuclear Research (Cern) in Geneva, Switzerland, according to French police sources.

Authorities believe the man and his brother are connected to the al-Qaeda chapter which claimed responsibility for murdering American humanitarian missionary, Christopher Leggett.

Some people read these stories and think, “Great, the cops are all over this shit. They got it covered.”

While we are thrilled that the authorities have been able to break up so many plots recently, we can’t help but wonder if the recent uptick in foiled plots is mainly the product of years of post 9/11 permissiveness in immigration policies.

Founding Bloggers is profoundly pro-immigration, but we are also profoundly in favor of common sense when it comes to people’s movements across borders during a world war. Progressive leaders around the world have failed to protect their populations when it comes to this issue. The effects of that failure might be coming to fruition.

    Will the left’s apologists now claim that al-Qaeda was hoping to use the technology for peaceful purposes?

    We can be thankful that this was uncovered by French authorities but what other industries have they infiltrated?

    Not to worry America, we now have the President of Peace! Once the terrorists see his shiny new medal they will fall into line because it is the right thing to do.

    We may be doomed.
