Gateway Pundit has posted a very revealing video of Nancy Pelosi making comments of the floor of the house, back in 2005 and 2003.

In the video, Pelosi pleads for Republicans to allow everyone to have a chance to read proposed legislation prior to voting on it. Sound familiar?

In one single video clip, both Democrats and Republicans are revealed to be little more than hypocrites. Pelosi is doing the same thing to Republicans which only a few years ago she correctly identified as outrageous.

Republicans are now complaining about the Democrats doing the same thing to them that they dished out when they were in power.

The bottom line is that this both sides of Congress have been behaving like undemocratic tyrants for a very long time.

Our government has been broken for a very long time.

Just how many pieces of legislation have been voted on without even a majority of elected officials even bothering to read what they were voting on???

A pox on both their houses.

I also have a question. How many bills are written by third parties and not the people who were elected?

I don’t recall voting for someone to outsource the writing of legislation that directly affects me and my family. I expect that to be performed only by the person I voted to represent me, not some group of people who have a direct financial interest in the law and will write it to benefit them and not the majority of Americans. I may be wrong and this is a Constitutionally permissible act, but I’d like to know for sure.

A pox on your two votes for George Bush in 2000 and 2004…
