White Ministers “Worried The Number Of White Challengers Could Result In Whites Losing Post”
November 9, 2009 | 3 Comments
US Rep. Danny Davis (DS-Illinois) has announced he will not be running for Illinois’ Cook County Board President. Instead, he will run for re-election to Congress.
The announcement was covered by the Chicago Tribune, who’s coverage highlights racism at the heart of the decision.
Veteran U.S. Rep. Danny Davis today dropped his bid to challenge Cook County Board President Todd Stroger and said he will seek re-election to Congress.
Davis had hedged his bets by filing petitions for the Feb. 2 Democratic primary for county president as well as for the seat in Congress he has held for 13 years. A run for board president would end his career in the House.
Black ministers earlier this fall had said they were worried the number of black challengers to Stroger could result in blacks losing the post, which an African American has held for more than a decade.
Racists.
Davis’ open embrace of Democratic-Socialism should be what ends his career in the House. Too bad the media doesn’t seem interested in educating the public to his long time association and support of the group, so that they could decide for themselves if they want to support a Democratic Socialist.
Davis was also a member of the New Party.
President Obama was a member of the New Party.
The New Party was founded by ACORN/SEIU/Citizen Action/DSA.

New Party defunct since late 90s/
Yes James. That is why their membership is spoken of in the past tense.
BUT…President Obama is the most powerful member of the Working Families Party, which we have reported is nothing more than the re-branded New Party.
Flashback: Hexagon
Hey, I love the New Party. Not all of us vote and think alike in America. We could benefit of its return.
