Fistgate Update: Kodak Is Wrong – GLSEN Is Not Just An “Educational Not-For-Profit” (VIDEO)

Kodak is dead wrong about GLSEN.
GLSEN is also an Alinsky-styled organizing/advocacy group, complete with a legislative agenda. They want a federal law against “bullying.”
Below, Barack Obama’s Safe School Czar, Fistgate cast member, and GLSEN founder Kevin Jennings advocates for the new laws.
It would be cold-hearted not to feel sympathy for what a group like GLSEN is trying to address, but this is just ill-conceived. In their attempt to legislate behavior, they will create an oppressive regime of inflexible laws which will likely do more harm than good.
What will happen to a kid who is accused of “bullying”? Will that accusation be on their record? Why wouldn’t it be? The state will need to investigate all cases of “bullying” so there will have to be a record. Law enforcement will likely need to be notified.
If the fake “harassment” charges levied against innocent people on college campuses across the country are any indication, this system will be plagued with horrifying abuses which could do permanent damage to kids’ lives.
The irony here is that greater education and enforcement of disciplinary measures currently in place would likely do the trick. After all, is treating your classmates poorly presently condoned in student handbooks around the country? Doubtful.
Unfortunately, education is not readily available in too many union-dominated government institutions, so that doesn’t appear to be a viable option.
One sad element to all of this is that the government is the one who created this mess to begin with. What you have here is a state-created unsafe zone, which the state must then “correct” by exerting increased state control. Now that is a cycle of violence.
Lastly, we would like to see some statistical data on bullying in public institutions versus private institutions. Our guess is that the data would humiliate the public system.

I was just about to purchase a Kodak digital camera for my daughter for Christmas. I chose a Samsung instead.
Pedophile education czars, yet another violation of our rights. Add it to the list of gov’t violations of our right:
They violate the 1st Amendment by fencing-in demonstrators at G-20, banning books like “America Deceived” and trying to take-over the internet.
They violate the 2nd Amendment by confiscating guns.
They violate the 4th and 5th Amendment by wireless wiretapping.
They violate the entire Constitution by starting undeclared wars.
Impeach Obama (and sweep out the Congress, except Ron Paul).

I’m tired of all this “anti-bully” crap they push in schools. Dealing with bullys is a necessary part of childhood socialization. We encounter bullys all our lives (look at the current crop in DC) and need to learn how to deal with them. No wonder we’re turning into a nation of wusses!
