I'm a rather large guy, I was a state wrestler and a moderate level belt in hapkido, I know how to defend myself for the most part, but I never defend myself when attacked, because I know as soon as I do, I will be accused of being the aggressor. I know how to take a hit, and if I take a real hit I don't carry a grudge because I blame myself for not reacting properly. and the worst of it is I used to be in the Marine Corps, so I know, I KNOW! that if I am ever charged for a crime, even though it isn't a crime THAT will be smeared all over everything else, also toss in the repercussions that might land on those I care about, because the instigator will walk free, and I will be tied up because I was the successful member might be in danger. I was In the Marines GD it! and I know, KNOW that the best defense is victimhood. (one of my bookings, completely freakish, I shoved a guy away from another guy, guess who the only person arrested was? Yeahp, Me.) and If I'm locked away I can't be the rough guy for those I care about, If I go somewhere else, they will just be victims to the various special interest classes (multi-cultural, preferably incapable of speaking english) can just walk all over them. I'm a tiny target who takes a punch, cuz that is the only defense I can offer to the weak in the civvy world. I'm only a diversion, allowing the good to go about their lives as I get my butt kicked by bad men. If I were allowed free will under the law, rather than punished for it, things would be different for a couple blocks within my house. Wanna know why crime is rampant? Good people aren't ALLOWED to be rough. Like I said, I was a Marine (has next to nothing to do with my ability to defend myself, I was 2881) and the fact that I was, would be front and center in any trial I would face, and I would go to trial.
