China Set To Ban Cats And Dogs From Menu

Salt-Nanny Mayor Bloomberg must be jealous. In China, the government can just ban a recipe/ingredient and punish offenders with fines and/or jail.
Here in America, the Social-Fascists still have to jump through a few hoops to tell us what we are allowed to eat.
Cats and dogs to be taken off menu in China
Anyone caught eating them would face a fine of as much as 5,000 yuan (£450) and up to 15 days in jail if the law is passed.
As long as they cut back on the sodium, right?
Don’t get us wrong, we are glad that Spots and Muffin might be spared a tour through the human colon. But we despise nanny-state-sponsored food police just a little more than we care about PC sensitivities to the ingestion of one animal over another.
