Media Matters is finally taking notice of the Tea Party spirit.
Sen.-Elect Scott Brown Implies GOP “Beholden” To “Special Interests,” Doesn’t Look For Solutions
The Truth Comes Out
The day after winning the Massachusetts special election, Senator-elect Scott Brown inadvertently implied Washington Republicans are “beholden” to “special interests” and don’t seek “to solve problems.”
Hilariously, they are portraying these comments as a Scott Brown gaffe which should somehow render him less credible.
Only in the Progressive movement could independent thought be considered a negative trait.
It doesn’t even occur to Media Matters that they are confirming Senator Brown has his finger on the pulse of the very movement that drove the momentum, energy, and fund-raising responsible for his election. Is that supposed to be a bad thing?
Dear Media Matters,
Welcome to the Tea Party.
Speaking truth to power… That’s a feature, not a bug.
Sincerely and etc…

[...] course, Media Matters is holding its own smear campaign against Senator Scott Brown too. Comments [...]
America, founded on individual freedom, had local government no more than one day’s horseback ride from the governed. 19th century Democrats ran on individual and state’s sovereignty. Laws on behavior moved to the Federal government away from local and state government. The tradition of local control was never lost, from the town hall meetings to Vigilante movements were citizens concerned with the way they were governed and took action to right the wrongs. The Tea Party Movement is an example of citizen participation against governing elite far from people. However, 20th century Democrats declared Tea Parties vigilante mobs. America’s founding traditions are cited in The Changing Face of Democrats, Our Lost Libertarian Roots, on claysamerica.com.
