Progressive Democrat Martha Coakley In The Business Of Ruining Lives

January 15, 2010

Prior to reading today’s Wall Street Journal, we wanted Marth Coakley to lose her bid for Senator of Massachusetts in the hopes of repudiating and stopping the disastrous socialized medicine bill which the Democrats are terrorizing the American people with.

After reading Dorothy Rabinowitz’s op/ed in the Journal today, we want Martha to suffer a humiliating defeat that ruins her political aspirations permanently.

Why? Because she is apparently a stranger to justice when there are political points to be scored:

Martha Coakley’s Convictions

The role played by the U.S. Senate candidate in a notorious sex case raises questions about her judgment.

Martha was just fine with the idea of convicting an entire family of predatory sexual abuse of children, based solely on the testimony prosecutors coached out of children.

Martha insists to this day that one of the defendants raped a child’s ass with a butcher’s knife, without leaving a mark on the child. No wound or blood. Just the word of a child.

Nice AG you have there Massachusetts! Perhaps that’s why most of law enforcement seems to hate her guts.

No less outraged, Superior Court Judge Isaac Borenstein presided over a widely publicized hearings into the case resulting in findings that all the children’s testimony was tainted. He said that “Every trick in the book had been used to get the children to say what the investigators wanted.” The Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly—which had never in its 27 year history taken an editorial position on a case—published a scathing one directed at the prosecutors “who seemed unwilling to admit they might have sent innocent people to jail for crimes that had never occurred.”

Martha didn’t initiate the case, but she did take it over. Despite overwhelming evidence that the charges were a fiction, she pressed hard to keep these innocent people behind bars.

I have been reading up on this case. I first heard about it when I was researching spiritual abuse and the like a few years back.

When this election began to hot up was the first time that I heard about the Coakley link to the case. It is so disgusting that she kept an innocent man in jail, and that two innocent women spent so long in jail.

It is not just Coakley who is to blame for the lack of justice in the case. The judge who heard the case against the man is guilty of unconstitutional behaviour by insisting that the children did not come face to face with the accused. In fact it was the judge who refused to own up to her errors.

On the other hand what Coakley did was reprehensible for other reasons, including her hypocritical stances on at least 2 other cases.

The Fr. Geoghan case caused a lot of harm to Cardinal Law and the Archdiocese of Boston. It has now emerged that Coakley was the one who refused to prosecute Geoghan the first time that he was accused of child molestation. He was allowed to return to being a priest and was sent off to do further crimes. It was not just Cardinal Law who was responsible in this case. It was Martha Coakley.

The other case is even worse in my view because the man who had “done the crime” against his 2 year old niece with a hot curling iron, happened to be the son of a man who donates money to the Coakley campaign. Instead of getting this man off the street not only did she refuse to file charges, but she accused the family’s lawyer of using the situation when he finally made the decision to campaign against her in an effort to get some action in the case.

Coakley was more interested in helping those who gave her political donations than in seeing that justice was done.

The woman is not fit to hold the position of Attorney General (just like Holder is not fit to hold that position).

Coakley probably admires Obama’s Safe Schools Czar, Steven Jennings, as well.

Brown wins, Dems shoot selves in foot with reconciliation, Conservatives repeal many Liberal programs using reconciliation.

Haven’t been here in a while, surprised Little Green Football whacko link still here. Very disappointed by that. Johnson is a flaming lib, I won’t be back.

Sorry to disappoint you with the link to LGF. We also link to KOS. None of these links should serve as an endorsement. We just choose not to place our heads in the sand when we disagree with someone. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

But if a link in a blogroll is going to be enough to send you over the edge, causing you to never visit us again, then good riddance. You are welcome back when/if you ever come to your senses.
