CBS News is reporting that a 37,000 member grouping of ACORN in California is splitting away from the national organization and changing it’s name.
The “new” organization, which will keep the same Cloward-Piven mission and the same Cloward -Piven staff, says it needs to distance itself from the scandal plagued ACORN, who’s regional leader Amy Schur complains has fallen victim to “vicious politically motivated attacks.”
Yeah, don’t you hate it when conservatives viciously attack an organization for helping launder child prostitution money? How dare those evil conservatives.
No word yet on how quickly the new organization, the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE) will be offering extortion, money laundering, and voter fraud services.
This is the beginning of the end of ACORN as we have known it. That’s not to say that this is the end of their criminal activities, just the branding for those criminal activities.
