March 31, 2010

According to his class-warfare-laden statements, the free ride for the rich is over.

This man was abused as a child so the union took him in and they indocrinated him and then he received free health care to have his labotomy.

I just have to giggle when people verbally kick the rich in the nuts. It’s a great sport. First of all, the term “rich” is usually undefined so it’s easier to throw around by the emotional crowd who don’t take the time to examine what they’re saying – nor what anyone else is saying. When it comes right down to it, the term “rich” is used as a pejorative, but it usually means: motivated, entrepreneurial, achievement oriented, frugal savers, and those with a can-do attitude. Individuals, such as the man with the mouth, often forget (are aren’t aware, or don’t care in the first place) that the overwhelming majority of the taxes in this country are paid by a very small minority of people – those damned “rich” people who deserve once again to be kicked in the nuts.

I’m certain the “rich” will be glad to know that their free ride is over. Thank God! Perhaps we can get back to them paying only their fair share, instead of the lion’s share. But then who would pick up the huge deficit in tax revenue? Oh, I forgot – the government will pay for that. Silly me.

The other factor that is often completely overlooked by those who have “needs” is that their job, more often than not, was created because rich and heartless bastards invested in a business. In other words, they put their savings (capital) at risk to start an enterprise that employs people – usually the same people that wouldn’t ever think about risking their own savings to start an enterprise, but instead look to other “rich” (capitalistic) bastards to provide them with a paycheck AND health insurance.

At what point do the producers simply stop producing because it’s not worthwhile to feed the beast and its supporters anymore? That’s the point I’ve been at now for more than three years.

    You nailed it Clair!

Instead of saying the rich’s free ride is over, he should have said, “Now we get a free ride off the rich.” Of course, if you tried to explain that to him he would just say, “huh?”

Democrats and their ilk are so oblivious to the profound personal and economic despair sweeping through this country that they think offering unemployed people the right to keep their unemployed children on their nonexistent health care policies is a step forward.

Or that passing a jobs bill that give tax credits to corporations is a rational response to a 10% plus unemployment rate.

And how is making ordinary Americans pay trillions in taxes to pay for the crimes of Wall Street helpful? Or how is our refusal to help people forced out of their homes by forclosure justified by the words “fiscal discipline”?

The GOP used to be able to help everyone see the best in each other. Let’s get there again.

” the crimes of Wall Street ”

pullleeeesse, can we stay off the Demoncrat talking points?

Do you blame the wolf if you put out a gob of raw bloody meat and it eats it? Then don’t keep heaping on “Wall Street” for doing what Congress and it’s law breaking friends at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac set them up to do. The Community Reinvestment Act was a travesty from the git-go. President Bush and a bi-partisan group from Congress tried 17 times to get Congress to repeal or repair it specifically to head off what happened. In the mean time Freddie and Fannie deliberately misstated the worthiness of the loan packages they flogged to the secondary market – a fraud perpetrated with the aid and assistance of Congress. THAT’S what caused the housing and mortgage crash, not Wall Street. Wall Street was sold a bag of diamonds that turned out to be a bag of crap. The investment banks were the aiders and abetters in this travesty. Their managements need to be in jail not being rescued with taxpayer money.
