Supporters of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid staged a counter-protest today in Searchlight, Nevada, the Senator’s hometown. Reid supporters gathered just down the road from the launching point of the Tea Party Express tour, and when Breitbart happened upon them, he was met with threats of violence. At least one protester threw an egg at Brietbart, missing him. Eggs were also thrown at the Tea Party Express bus.
To add insult to insult, Reid supporters called the police to report that Breitbart had provoked an incident.

My husband, son and i just got back from Searchlight and other needing to take a shower thanks to the dust, we had a great time. I just heard about the egging of the bus and while i was on Facebook, I saw that someone I know was one of the Reid supporters in front of the Nugget. He has pictures to prove he was there. I posted to his page that the way he was characterizing the people attending wasn’t exactly accurate and then I left this parting shot, “Isn’t it funny though that the Tea Partiers are the ones who are characterized as angry and violent and yet, Harry Reid supporters in front of the Nugget Casino in Searchlight threw eggs at the Tea Party Express bus caravan. You weren’t part of that were you?”
