Regrettably, for the citizens of Chicago, the only people who are well-armed are the gangland thugs who terrorize the population and the too-few police who already have their hands full.
April in Chicago has started off with a bang, as it were. There have been 40 shootings here in the past three days. Until such time that Chicago’s Progressive mayor, Richard Daley, figures out that guns can just as easily be used for defense as for committing a crime, we will continue to suffer the consequences of his anti-gun fetish. We will continue to be sitting ducks.
Unless, of course, The Supreme Court decides that the 2nd Amendment is also operative in Chicago, Daley’s perversity notwithstanding.

Nothing so clearly demonstrates the incompetence of liberal politics than this. When confronted with the Law of Unintended Consequences libtards just put their fingers in their ears and go Nah-nah-nah-nah while closing their eyes and dreaming of the Utopia they are sure now exists.
