Are the Tea Parties and the conservative movement setting themselves up for a deep shock if they don’t at least capture the House?
Mike Huckabee just ended his talk show by playing bass guitar for a rewritten Beatles tune, Eleanor Rigby. They changed the lyrics to, “Ah, look at all the angry voters.”
The whole performance was a bit bizarre, but the part that stood out wasn’t the corniness of the tune. It was when they sang about Nancy Pelosi as though her political exit stage left is a foregone conclusion.
It makes us think Huckabee, and rest of the anti-socialist alignment, should drink a big ole cup of Instapundit. Glenn’s advice… “Don’t get cocky”
Perhaps the upcoming Comedy Central Stewart-Colbert rally will be big enough to wipe the cocky off everyone’s faces.
