Suggestions For Ratcheting Down The Political Toxicity – Pt. 1: STOP ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO BREAK THE LAW

January 10, 2011

We applaud the Progressive Democrat party for taking a bold stand against the toxic state of today’s political climate. Better late than never.

Here is one suggestion for how to ratchet down the toxic tone in today’s political climate. Community organizers should stop encouraging people to break laws in order to make political points.

It sends a bad message to condone these kinds of lawless actions against the government.

How can anyone encourage people to break the law, and then expect those same people to successfully judge which laws are okay to break and which ones are not? It’s a slippery slope that our body politic would arguably do better without.
